I´m sorry for this untimely message, but I was just made aware of Rob´s passing today (10/9/2025). My sincerest condolences to Rob´s sisters, family, and especially his beloved son, Mathew(Matt).
I first met Rob when he worked for Monroe Bus company in Waterford, as this was where my mom, Bessie Coombs ,was employed as a special education bus (van) driver, in the late 1970´s.
Our pathes were to later cross, when we met up at a funeral of my neighbor, and our mutual friend, CT State Trooper, George Constantine.
Rob was a genuine friend, very hard working and willing to lend a hand, where needed. Skilled in his craft of automotive repair.
I am saddened today with this news, but elated he was able to follow and accomplish many of his dreams,as a father, aviator, and proprietor of his famed business, Ledyard Auto-body.
Rob, rest in peace, and may your lasting memories live on, in all that had the privilege to know and love you.

Just found out about his passing today. I miss news papers. He helped my nanny twice to get her keys locked in her car. Prayers for his family
