Robert F Dertinger

Robert F. Dertinger, 81, of Titusville passed away on Saturday, September 26, 2025 while surrounded by his loving family. Robert was born on October 30, 1943 in Manhattan, New York to the late Herman and Eleanor Dertinger. Robert worked for many years with the New York Department of Transportation and had a dedicated work ethic that he passed down to his kids. Robert was an active member of the South Shore Kiwanis Club and served as the Lt. Governor of the Manhattan club. He was an avid baseball player in his younger years, enjoyed telling jokes and cheating at golf whenever he could. But, most of all he enjoyed his time being a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Other than his parents, Robert is preceded in death by his sons Robert John Dertinger and Ralph E. Pisano; brother Charles Dertinger; stepfather Robert Vanderbelt. He will be greatly missed by his beloved wife of forty-eight years, Louise Dertinger children Dawn (John) Pizzi, Todd Pisano, David T.A. Dertinger, Jennifer (Dennis) Varga; grandchildren Michael, Shawn, Robert, Blaine, Dakota (Misha) Randjelovic and Sabrina (Brandon) Mahoney; great grandchildren Rae Randjelovic and Thomas Flynn Kizer-Pisano. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3, 2025 at North Brevard Funeral Home from 2-4PM with a funeral service at 4PM.
