Lynn - Robert L. Desrosier, age 88, of Lynn, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at a local nursing home after a lengthy illness. A lifelong Lynn resident, he was the son of the late Reginald and Mary (Zarecka) Desrosier. He had worked for the City of Lynn until his retirement and had also worked at Stop and Shop and Hines Liquors.
An avid walker, Bobby also enjoyed eating good food. He liked to play cards and watch TV, especially sports. He enjoyed going to his family's cottage on Lake Wentworth in Wolfeboro, NH with his father. He was a resilient, hard-working person. Bobby was very special and will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his brother, Paul Desrosier and his wife Sandy; his sister, Mary Lou Morris; his cousin, Lillian Tetrault; as well as several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Edward Desrosier and his late wife Lorraine.
Service Information: His graveside service will be held on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, at 11AM in Pine Grove Cemetery, 145 Boston St., Lynn. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited and may meet at the main gate of the cemetery at 10:45AM.
