Robert Keith DeVault

Robert "Bob" Keith DeVault, 73, of Morgantown, passed away Wednesday, November 6, 2024 at Mon Health Medical Center. He was born September 14, 1951 in Uniontown, a son of the late James and Marjorie (Stewart) DeVault.
Bob was formerly employed at Mylan Pharmaceutical and attended Mt. View Free Methodist Church. In his free time, he enjoyed family vacations, hunting, fishing, and camping. He was very interested in the history of the Civil War and was very knowledgeable on the subject. Bob was also an avid Mountaineer and Steelers fan.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Karen DeVault; "special brothers," Vernon Estel, Michael Shahan; "special sisters," Kathy Estel, Verna Shahan; "special mother," Pauline Shahan; nieces and nephews, Andrew Estel (Morgan), Jeremy Shahan (Kim), Chris Estel (Joan), Laura DeLeurere (Zachary) and Bethany Estel (Matthew); great nieces and nephews, Grady, Graham, Titus, and Nolan DeLeurere, June and Miles Estel, Rose and Watson Duggan, Sophia Estel, Emma, Annabeth, and Abigail Shahan.
In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his father-in-law, Watson Shahan.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Black Hills Free Methodist Camp, 3791 McKinney Cave Rd., Reedsville, WV 26547.
Friends and family will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown, on Sunday, November 10th from 5-7 PM and again on Monday, November 11th from 12 Noon until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 PM with Pastors Jeff Stalnaker, Jim Cooley, and Kevin Davis officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
