Robert Mitch Dixon

Dixon, Robert Mitchell "Mitch", 51, of Louisville passed away, Thursday, August 1, 2013 at Ellis Park Race Track in Henderson, Kentucky. He loved working with horses, barbequing, dancing, and the annual Brenda and Sherrils derby party. He especially loved being with his children. Mitch is predeceased by his parents, John L. and Martha Dixon; and brother, Johnny L. Dixon, Jr. He is survived by his loving wife and sweetheart, Teresa Miles; his children, Brandon, Tasha, and Lakita; sisters, Mary, Lucille, Linda, Alice; brothers, Samuel, Gary, Danny, and Dwight; 6 grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Christ Chapel, Churchill Downs preceded by visitation from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. Friends may call Monday at Ratterman Grand Chapels, 4832 Cane Run Road from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.
