Robert Dodge Obituary
Robert Richard Dodge, age 73, of Hollister, Missouri, passed away December 3, 2025. He entered this life on October 22, 1952, the son of Robert and Geraldine (Shaffer) Dodge in Groton, Connecticut. Robert was joined in marriage to Sheron Dame on February 14, 2004. He is preceded in death by his parents and twin granddaughters, Nola and Norah.
Robert lived his life with an adventurous spirit. He loved being on the water, boating, discovering artifacts, deep-sea fishing, hunting, and traveling, always eager for the next journey. His curiosity and passion for exploration shaped the way he experienced the world.
Throughout his career, Robert worked proudly as an ironworker, helping to build numerous bridges that still stand as a testament to his skill and dedication. As an entrepreneur, he built a beautiful life for his family through hard work and vision. He grew his business, Midwest Art and Frame, from a single storefront into five unique locations, creating something lasting and meaningful for his community.
Above all, Robert cherished his wife and held a deep, enduring love and respect for his children and family. He was an honest, devoted father and grandfather who worked tirelessly to create special memories and a legacy his family will carry forward.
Everyone who knew Robert will treasure the moments they shared with him; memories filled with laughter, adventure, and the unmistakable warmth of his presence. His spirit lives on in the stories, bridges, and lives he helped build.
Robert is survived by his wife of twenty-seven years, Sheron Dodge of Hollister, Missouri; children: Robert Nathan Dodge of Anchorage, Alaska, Adam Dodge and wife, Amy of Wagoner, Oklahoma, and April Dodge and husband, Wendell of Belleair, Florida. He is also survived by grandchildren: Reina and Kamryn; Kevin and Benjamin; and Eliana and Joella; great-grandchild, Rylix; and siblings: Mike (Karen) Dodge, Carolyn (Chris) Page, and Dave (Sheryl) Dodge; as well as many other extended family members.
Forever loved. Forever remembered.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Cremations of the Ozarks.

So sorry to loose a good friend like Bob knowing him was a true privilege and always exciting to hear of his many travels in life he will be terribly missed and Thank you Bob for the memories

I am so sorry to hear about Bob´s death, he was my cousin and we all grew up together in the Mohegan region of Montville Ct. Spent many days in the summer at his family´s cottage on Amos Lake in Preston Ct. with his brother Micky. So many good memories.
