Robert Lee Doege Sr.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Robert Lee Doege Sr. on August 31, 2025, in Elmendorf, Texas, at the age of 84. Robert was born on October 25, 1940, in St. Hedwig, Texas, and lived a life full of love, family, and dedication. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Thelma Sue Doege, his parents, Joseph and Ida Doege, his brother Tony and sister Agnes and two brother in laws. Robert's memory will be cherished by his children: Robert Lee Doege Jr. and his wife Melinda Narvaez-Doege and Jennifer Ann Tracy and her husband Robert (Bo) Tracy. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren: Brandon Doege, Taylor Doege, Joseph Doege, Bryant Tracy and Hannah Garcia and her husband Vinny and great-grandson Bradley Doege as well as extended family, and friends, all of whom were blessed to know him and will carry his memory in their hearts. Robert was a man of great strength, kindness, and resilience. His love for his family was unwavering, and he took great pride in watching his children, grandchildren grow and the birth of his great-grandchild Bradley. He will be remembered for his deep sense of responsibility, his quiet wisdom, and the generosity of spirit that he shared with those around him. May he rest in peace, surrounded by the love he so freely gave in his life. Visitation will be held on Monday, September 8, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a Ceremony Blessing to begin at 6:30 p.m. at Dellcrest Funeral Home, 2023 South W.W. White Rd. San Antonio, Texas 78222.
