In memory of
Diane Baggerly
January 23, 2018
To the family and friends of Bob who mourn the loss of such a wonderful man, I wanted to let you know that I am thinking of all of you. I feel grateful that I had the honor and privilege to meet and get to know him over the years. He was such a lovely man and a true gentleman. The obituary written for him was so beautifully written and summed him up perfectly. I was so happy that my husband was able to meet him as well when we ran into him frequently while dining out. They hit it off and talked for an extended time---both retired Air Force with a love of planes and flying. I will miss his blue eyes and incredible smile. I hope your wonderful memories of him will bring you comfort as you grieve. Sincerely, Diane Baggerly RN St. John's Cardiac Rehab

Bob was a regular golfer at Pasfield Golf Course. When I didn't see him I was told that he had become ill and was staying with his son. I would be there by myself and would sometimes join up with him to finish my round. I will miss seeing Bob at the course. He was always welcoming and friendly. I am sorry for your loss. I will miss him too. Ann Clark

I am saddened to learn of Bob's passing. All who had the pleasure of knowing him will surely miss him. Bob was the epitome of a gentleman. He always was positive and with a smile that easily conveyed his good will and caring demeanor. Making you feel comfortable and at ease was a natural for Bob. Of his many gifts and characteristics, kindness was his signature legacy. My condolences to his beloved children.

Bob and Arlette moved into the property at 1733 South Glenwood Avenue right next door to me (1729) some sixty years ago. Having just lost my mother, they became a sort of foster family for me. I often ate dinner at their house, babysat their children, accompanied them on vacation. They were so accepting of my silly teenage behaviors! In fact, I would credit Bob and Arlette with having guided me toward my own satisfying life as a teacher, wife, parent and grandparent. Loved reading this beautifully written obituary which described the amazing life lead by this good and kind man!
