Robert Dorin Obituary
Northampton, MA - Robert H. Dorin, 74, of Northampton passed away peacefully on Friday, February 9, 2024 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Robert was born in Brooklyn, New York on April 12, 1949 to the late Henry and Bess (Goldman) Dorin. He grew up in Brooklyn and attended local schools, graduating from Samuel J. Tilden High School. He attended Brown University and received a Bachelor's Degree in 1969. He received graduate degrees from SUNY-Buffalo and Northeastern University. Robert worked in the software industry as an engineer, manager, project manager, and an industry analyst. He loved to travel and enjoyed music and theater. He especially loved to watch New England sports teams and take road trips to different baseball stadiums. Robert will be greatly missed by his wife Lesley Peebles of Northampton, his son Matthew Dorin and his wife Christie Kerns-Dorin of New York City, his son Joshua Dorin of Boston, his daughter Margaret Peebles-Dorin of New York City, his stepson Benjamin Peebles-Mundy and his wife Rebecca Wilsker of Boston, and his sister Nina Alter of Florida. Donations in Robert's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 6704 Hagerstown, MD 21741. Services will be private.

Lesley, Matt, Christie, Josh, Maggie, et al.,
Matt thank you for letting me/us know about Bob. I´m sitting here thinking of so many times we were together, especially Annie´s and Peter´s wedding in Hill Country, Texas.
Hopefully, you will all be able to feel slightly less sad thinking back on the better times as well.
Hoping, too, that Harlan and Bob are sharing a bottle of Lagavulin...
