Robert Yager Obituary
January 12, 1940 - September 19, 2025
Silver Lake, Washington - Robert Duane Yager was born in Rolla, North Dakota on 1/12/40 to Frank & Mable Yager. He passed away, peacefully at home in Castle Rock, WA on 9/19/25. He is survived by his Significant Other, 1 Sister, 5 Children, 15 Grandchildren, 24 Great-Grandchildren, and 4 Great-Great Grandchildren.
Bob grew up in Tacoma, WA one of 5 children. He attended Lincoln High school & was active in the Dominos car club. He worked as a pipe-fitter in Portland until 1977 when he opened his own company, Basic Fire Protection which is still in business.
Bob was an enthusiastic hunter, fisherman, private pilot & an avid Nascar fan. Services will be held on October 10th at Fir Lane Memorial Park, Spanaway, WA, at 1 p.m. with a reception to follow at Fircrest Golf Club. Donations in lieu of flowers should go to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Bob was outgoing and so funny! He was generous and donated his condo in Hawaii to us after my son passed away. He will be missed!

I remember you today with a smile, because I can't remember a time when you were without one. From that radiant grin to your characteristic impish wink-- it was almost as if you always had good news or something funny bubbling just beneath the surface, eager to get out!
We will miss your light and laughter, your big heart and your kindhearted nature.
But you will always and forever be remembered...with a smile.
