Robert Duross Obituary
Robert was born in Detroit, Michigan on September 25, 1938 to Francis and Jane Duross. Robert was a dedicated hard worker who founded Duross Painting Company, a commercial painting contractor over 50 years ago that is still a thriving business today.
Robert was the loving father of daughters Dawn Duross (Gary)Mackintosh, Michele Duross, Linda (John) Casaceli and son Robert Duross, Jr.; grandchildren Lindsey (Mike) Saunders, Austin (Andrea) Crass, Benjamin Casaceli, Thomas (Christie) Casaceli, Alyssa (Jake) Chandler, Sara (Kevin) Porto and Kate Duross; Great grandchildren Penelope and Scarlett Saunders, Caroline Casaceli, McKenzie and Juliette Chandler and Parker Porto; stepsons Michael (Nina) and Adam (Julie) Kohnen. He is also survived by his much loved cat Maggie.
He is predeceased by his beloved wife Sharon Duross, his sister Ellen (Beauregard), and brothers Frank and William Duross.
An avid golfer Robert was a longtime member of Eagle Creek Country Club in Naples, Florida where he served on the Board of Directors and Burning Tree Country Club in Detroit, Michigan. To plant a beautiful memorial tree in memory of Robert, please visit our Tree Store.
