Robert Eugene White Jr., age 59, passed away at his home on Sunday, July 30th, 2023. Robert was born on April 7th, 1964 to Robert Eugene White Sr. and Josephine (Patranella) White in Houston, Texas.
After moving to Bryan, Texas at the age of 5, Robert attended Bryan schools from Elementary to Highschool.
Robert started working in construction at age 16. He became an excellent framing contractor and home builder. In recent years, Robert used his talent to create furniture and faith-based wood art. He also supported his wife in their bakery.
In 1989 Robert married the catch of his life, Rhonda Kay (Pate) White. During their 33 years of marriage, they raised two amazing sons, Robert Thomas White and John Tristan White, whom made him proud “all day, every day.”
Robert’s passion for hunting and fishing began as a young boy. He passed on his skills by teaching his sons how to hunt and fish. Robert holds the Yegua Creek waterbody record for largest flat head catfish.
He was proceeded in death by his father, Robert Eugene White Sr.; his sister, Sherry Elaine White; maternal grandparents, Carrie and Frank Patranella; and paternal grandparents, Edith and Elmo White.
Robert is survived by his wife, Rhonda Kay White; his sons, Robert Thomas White and John Tristan White; his mother, Josephine (Patranella) Rachal and husband Randy Rachal; his sisters, Lisa (White) Workman and husband Joseph Workman, Heather Morgan and Husband Mike Morgan; his mother-in-law, Martha Jane Pate; brothers-in-law, Gordon Pate and wife Staci Pate, and Brad Pate; and various nieces, nephews, and other family members.
