Jimmy Edwards Obituary
Jimmy Donald Edwards of Glasgow, Kentucky, son of the late Leo Guy Edwards and Hazel Virginia Jeffries Edwards, was born on March 6, 1953 in Metcalfe County and departed this life on February 19, 2026 at Glasgow State Nursing Facility. He was 72 years, 11 months, and 13 days of age.
He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Sulphur Well. Jimmy enjoyed listening to music and taking Sunday afternoon drives to sight see.
He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law: Ginny and Danny Kingrey of Cave City; three brothers and sisters-in-law: Doyle and Eva Edwards, Coy and Judy Edwards, Danny and Nancy Edwards all of Green County; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Besides his parents, he was also preceded in death by one sister: Linda D. Bozeman.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11 A.M., Central Time, Saturday, February 21, 2026 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Cemetery in Sulphur Well. Bro. Kendall Clark officiating.
Visiting is requested after 10:30 A.M., Central Time, at the cemetery until time of the service.
Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
