ALAS, there will never be another host (and perpetual bon vivant) like Robert Ebert. I will never forget the first time that I met Robert at Mother's in 1982. He welcomed me with friendship that continues to embrace my sensibilities-IN PERPETUITY. I worked with Robert at Mothers restaurant over 40 years ago. It was a blast!! If only one could capture some of those moments when New Hope was so fabulous and Robert was such an integral part of it. What a loss.
