Robert Eddington Obituary

Robert Eddington, 59, of Chattanooga, TN passed away Sunday, November 23, 2025 in a local hospital.
He truly enjoyed life! His favorite band was KISS and his favorite football team was the Alabama Crimson Tide. He loved going on airplane and helicopter rides, watching wrestling, playing his guitar and listening to his police scanner. He was a resident of Orange Grove for over 20 years and was cherished for his enthusiasm for life.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, C. L. and Edna Eddington, sister, Malinda Blevins, brothers, Jimmy Hensley and Charlie Eddington and grandnephew, C. J. Eddington.
Survivors include his brother, Eddie Eddington, Sr., nieces, Pamela (Skip) Voyles and Shelley Crane, nephew, Eddie Eddington, Jr. and Robert's girlfriend, Michelle Workman.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, November 29, 2025 at the Lakewood Memory Gardens, West at 2:00 p.m.
The family will receive friends on Friday, November 28, 2025 from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Legacy Funeral Home, 8911 Dallas Hollow Road, Soddy-Daisy, TN.
A special thanks to the wonderful staff at Orange Grove for their dedicated care of Robert. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Orange Grove Center, 615 Derby St. Chattanooga, TN 37404.

I took care of Robert for a long time, and loved him very much, and still do. He called me mama, and he would smile when I called him son. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. I loved him to the moon and back. Janis Simmons
