Dennis and Ron & Lynne and family, Your dad was truly a special man. A friend and co-worker of my fathers at Flood Control they maintained their friendship throughout their retirement. Meeting at camping spots across the west to fish and of course to always tease each other. I do not think they ever settled the argument of who caught the biggest fish. :) They would regularly meet for lunch and as my fathers health failed, Bob would continue to visit. It was then that my wife and I would pick them both up for lunch. When my father passed we continued to pick Bob up for lunch. It was always fun, even our son would joins us when he could. He was always so appreciative but it was my wife and I who truly enjoyed spending time with him. We loved hearing the stories of his life. We will miss him and are praying for you.
