Our Condolences to Mrs Eilers and Family, May He Rest In Peace.

We offer our most heart felt condolences to the Eilers family. Mr. Eilers was a good man and a Pilar of our community. He was always willing to help and He and Borderland leadership always offered Mercedes folks job opportunities. I hung around the family from the age of 5 or so, while I worked in the back area with my Uncle Eddie Loep fixing small engines. I have many fond memories of those days. And my brother Lonnie worked there for a while as well.
Thank Mr. Eilers for your service to our Country in WW II and to our city of Mercedes.

Our condolences to the Eilers family. Bob will always be remembered for being a straight shooter. A man of faith and respect for his fellow man. Rest in peace.

I am so very sorry to hear this. Mr. Eilers was a good, kind man who loved his family and his community. He was both an inspiration and a supporter to me.
