I first met Bob about 28 years ago in a hobby shop. I had taken an engine to the hobby shop one rainy Sunday for identification, since there were no markings on it. He gave me his name, an I said "gee, I know a Bob Einhaus." It turned out that his step mother played the organ at my wedding in Olympia in August, 1972 and I had met his father and step mother at that time. They were very good friends with my in-laws. Bob and I shared a passion for model airplanes and all things aviation. It was also the start of a wonderful 28 year friendship. He will certainly be missed.
