Mrs Elder, Diane, Trisha, Angie and all the Elder family, am so sorry for your loss. I can remember when the Elder family moved to Sorgho. What great neighbors. I learned a lot from Bob helping him build his garage, frying fish and BBQing. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

So sorry to hear of Mr. Elder passing. He and dad had many good times back in the day. I can still hear the horseshoes clanging and the fish frying. God bless

Margie, and daughters, sympathy and prayers to a wonderful family, Bob was my husbands best friend. Bob like Jim Bill, adored his daughters ,their husbands and grandchildren. They both had a very strong faith in God ,and were devoted catholics.

Please accept my prayers and sympathy. My husband was Pat Carrico who recently passed away in February 5th. He was also a member of local 1701 and had worked with Bob. God bless your family. Charlene Carrico

Bob and I were neighbors when I lived in Owensboro back in the 1970's. We both went to Our Lady Of Lourdes. When we were both grilling we would both taste our cooking to see who's was better. He also helped me wire the softball stand at Lourdes. A good man and will include him in my rosary.

I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. and Mrs. Elder briefly, and the privilege of knowing Diane closely for 30 years as a co-worker at Texas Gas. Good children at any age come from good parents and, based on that theory, Diane, Trisha, and Angie came from good stock! So sorry for your loss. May you find comfort in knowing he's with Chelsey now, as well as other loved ones who passed before him.
