Robert Ellison Jr.

Robert "Bobby" Ellison, Jr. was born March 23, 1963 to the late Robert Ellison, Sr. and Jo Ella Johns Ellison, in Austin, TX. Bobby passed away October 12, 2010, in the presence of his family at home. He accepted Christ as his personal Savior in his early teens and was baptized by Rev. G. V. Clark, at Mount Zion Baptist Church. He served as a Youth Usher and was active in the Youth Department under the leadership of the late Sister Ella Mae Ellison and the late Sister Eunice Ridge. Bobby attended the Austin Public Schools and Austin Community College. Bobby was loved by everyone. He touched many lives and will be sorely missed. He left his prints on many hearts – both young and old. As a youngster, Bobby was quiet, yet playful. As a teen, he became a well-known C-B Club Member. His handle was "Blue Boy." He worked at Brackenridge Hospital and First Federal Savings with "Grandpa" and several paper companies. Bobby established his trucking business several years ago – RE Trucking. He met and made many friends along the way from Texas to California, Atlanta, Michigan and New York, as well as other states. Many of them called him during his illness. Barby and Bridgett accompanied him as he gave them history lessons along the way. Wilson and Ruth Ellison of Austin, TX, and Edith Johns of Los Angeles, CA; and a host of other relatives and friends.
