Robert "Butch" Emmerich
Robert C. Emmerich, 84, of Bridgeport, CT, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 9, 2025, surrounded by his family.
He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He is survived by his wife, brother, daughter, son and daughter-in-law, three grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his two sisters and a sister-in-law. He worked for 32 years as a Security Specialist at Goodrich Corporation (formerly Perkin-Elmer). He was an avid sports fan who enjoyed watching any sporting event, especially his Yankees and Giants games. He and his wife also participated in a weekly bowling league for many years.
At his request, there will be no funeral or burial services conducted.
In lieu of flowers or cards, please feel free to make donations to The Bridgeport Rescue Mission, which was a charity he believed in and fully supported.
