Robert Ethington Obituary
He was a graduate of Fairdale High School class of 1964, a Staff Sergeant in the Air Force SAC Division, Top Crew Chief in the 320th Bombardment Wing Tanker Maintenance Branch; retired from GE Appliance Park after 37 years; an avid UK fan; a loving husband, father, and a friend to all who knew him.
Preceding Robert in death are his parents, Joseph and Irene Ethington.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 56 years, Mary Pat Ethington; son, Robert L. Ethington Jr., and brothers, Joseph and Frank Ethington.
His funeral service will be held 6 p.m. Thursday, July 3rd at Joseph E. Ratterman & Son Funeral Home, 7336 Southside Drive with cremation to follow. Visitation will be 1 – 6 p.m. Thursday at Rattermans.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to Hosparus, WHAS Crusade for Children, or Norton Children's Hospital.
