Robert Everett Obituary
Robert was born on March 22, 1942, son of the late Claude and Evelyn M. Glanding Everett. After graduating high school, he furthered his education at Washington College where he obtained his Batchelor and Master's degrees. Robert taught math at Queen Anne's County High School for 22 years, retiring in 1988. He went on to operate the family farm, where he has lived his entire life. Robert and his wife Faye also owned and operated Hickory Lane Farm & Florist Store in Millington for 12 years.
He was a member of the Queen Anne's Co. Retired Teacher Association and Asbury United Methodist Church where he was active with the food pantry. Robert enjoyed sports, especially college baseball and softball, loved football and watching the Orioles. He also enjoyed music.
Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his sister Audrey Burroughs.
Robert is survived by his wife of 51 years Alice Faye Everett and son Christopher Everett and his wife Mary of Bear, DE.
A memorial service will be held on October 27 at 11 am in the Galena Funeral Home of Stephen L. Schaech, Galena, MD, where friends may call from 10 to 11 am.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be offered to the Millington-Crumpton Food Pantry, PO Box 187, Millington, MD 21651
