I will miss you, my friend. I have so much respect for your intellect and knowledge of not only baseball, but life in general. We both coached at Moraine Valley, and the one year I was your assistant, I learned more about teaching the skill of hitting from you than I had from any coach or lecturer, that I´ve ever had. You also were the shortstop at Lane Tech HS when Lane lost to Kennedy HS in 1969 at Wrigley Field when I was the coach at Kennedy. My friendship with you went back a long way. I am hoping that someday we will be coaching again together. Love you, my friend.

Breeze was a great colleague, teacher and coach. He was a supporter, inspiration and promoter for his students and friends. I am most grateful to have been able to work with him, as well as share a few beers with him when our schedules allowed.

My very deepest sympathies to the Fabrizio family. Bob was truly a class act. Any time I would see Bob he always had time to stop and have a friendly conversation. I had the privilege of coaching baseball with his son, Tom at Andrew High School and Bob was a frequent visitor to our games. I looked forward to our postgame talks. He always made you feel like a close friend and his professional insights were always welcome. The world lost a great man and he will be missed tremendously. Rest in Peace, Bob.

Coach was a great man.
I learned a lot from him in my four years at Elmhurst College.
After college it was always a great day when we crossed paths- either while I was scouting/coaching football games (which happened many times over the years) or more recently back at Elmhurst at tailgates before the homecoming games.
He always had wisdom to share, always had time for real conversation, and cared for his players.
I love him, will miss him, and will be praying for everyone.
He will always be remembered, and I will try to coach my kids the way he did, in football, and in life.

When Bob joined the staff at Stagg HS he became a valued member of our faculty and coaching staff . I found him to be a true gentleman and we became fast friends and discussed many coaching methods and ideas.
The students and athletes at Stagg benefited greatly from his teaching and coaching .
Rest in peace my friend

Dear Mo and Fabrizio Family:
My deepest sympathy for your loss. Coach Fabrizio was a wonderful mentor to me as a young teacher and coach at St. Laurence in the mid-late 1980´s. I was honored to be part of his varsity football staff that won "The Catholic League Championship " in 1987. St. Laurence was fortunate to have such a talented leader of young men during his tenure at STL. The camaraderie that was built amongst us STL coaches under Bob left an indelible impression on me to this day. I feel very fortunate to have stayed in touch with him 38 years after leaving St.Laurence. I will sorely miss him.
