Mr. Robert Hill Faison

Robert Faison, 70, transitioned to eternal rest on Sunday, August 18, 2024 at UNC Health Southeastern Hospital in Lumberton, NC. Robert was born on May 9, 1954 to the late Larscina and Joseph Faison.
Robert graduated from Terry Sanford Senior High School in Fayetteville. After graduation he joined the United States Army. During his career, Robert served as an infantryman and military policeman. Throughout his 10 year time in service, he was stationed at Ft. Liberty (Fort Bragg), NC, Ft. Stewart, GA and Aschaffenburg, Germany. After his military career Robert worked as a long distance truck driver, Rhodes furniture delivery driver and construction laborer. Robert enjoyed hunting and fishing, drawing and painting, horseback riding and playing the guitar.
Robert married Barbara Thomas June 2, 1973 in Dillion, SC. He is proceeded in death by his father Joseph T. Faison, mother Larscina Faison and brother Bruce Faison. He leaves to cherish his memories, wife, Barbara Faison, sisters, Joanne Crecy (Jessie), Darcel R. Faison, Sharon Carpenter (Robert) and brothers Milton Faison (Alina), Jonathan E. Faison, an aunt, Rosa McGougan, an uncle, Otis McKiethan, and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
