In memory of
Richard Kelly

Bob was a fine man. I feel honored to have been his friend for many decades. He was a person of integrity and great good humor, who never had a gratuitous mean word to say about another person. Bob was the type of person who would have prompted John Donne to suggest that the death of one human being diminishes us all. Richard Kelly

I was fortunate enough to be Bob and Diana´s 1st floor neighbor growing up with my grandmother on Whiting Lane. Neighbors turned into family being included for holidays, celebrations even vacations together. Some of my fondest memories was Bob taking me on weekly grocery trips to see the lobsters. Teaching me to play chess and helping with homework. Making homemade cherry pie from our tree in the yard. There are far too many things to list individually but he was a major part of my upbringing. He was by the far one of the best male role models I had. My deepest sympathy to Diana and the family.

Bob you were an important component to our lives! Coming for dinner in your bachelor years refusing to eat most vegetables, and then meeting and marrying Diana who became our dearest friend. Our trips together to Key West and New Orleans where we had to test every praline shop and decide the "winningest" praline! We love you and will miss you, your stories, and your big heart! Love, Al and Janet

Bob was on the Finance council at St. Mark's. He provided good advice and he was a good guy. He did a great job for our district when he was in the CT state house. I appreciated his friendship.
