Robert Fields Obituary
Robert J. "Bob" Fields, 85, of Findlay, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 18, 2024.
He was born April 12, 1939, in Toledo, to James A. and Elizabeth (Falk) Fields. Bob was a 1957 graduate of Cory-Rawson High School.
He married Marlene Powell on May 13, 1958, and she survives along with sons, Thomas (Kathy) Fields of Benton Ridge and Richard (Tammy) Fields of Hudson, Florida; daughter, DeeDee (Dennis) Neiling of Findlay; and eight grandchildren, Andy (Mellissa) Fields, Danielle (James) Powell, Valleri (Bruce) Goodman, Dustin (Shannon) Fields, Brett (Michelle) Fields, Kayla (Uvaldo) Sierra, Jared (Suzanne) Neiling, and Tyson Neiling.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents; son, Michael Fields; brother, James Lynn "Butchie" Fields; and sister, Jacquelyn Fields.
Bob was a mechanic and owner of Fields Sunoco Station, Fields Shell Station, and eventually, Fields Service. He attended Good Shepherd Church, Benton Ridge. Bob loved sports, coaching midget football, and was a member of the football sideline gang for many years. He also enjoyed mowing his yard and boxer dogs, especially his dog, Sport.
Visitation will be 3-7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 23, 2024, at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME. Burial will be private for family later at Clymer Cemetery.
Memorial contributions can be made in memory of Bob to Good Shepherd Church, Benton Ridge.

So very sorry for your loss Marlene. Bob was always so nice is helping us with all our questions about the house. Please know that you and the rest of the family are in our thoughts and prayers- and we will make sure to take good care of the home that the two of you built together.
