Robert Paul “Bob” Flory, age 91, of Bryan, passed away Sunday, March 29, 2026 at Fairlawn Haven in Archbold. He was a US Army veteran who served from 1957-1959 and was honorably discharged. Bob retired from LaChoy in Archbold after 42 years of service. He was a talented musician and played steel guitar in several area bands. Bob was a former member of the Bryan Eagles and Moose. He enjoyed camping, traveling and fishing in his spare time.
Robert Paul Flory was born October 9, 1934, in Toledo, the son of Alfred E. and Donna H. (Rhodes) Flory. He married Lois J. (Schnitkey) Cupp on June 24, 1977 in Bryan and she preceded him in death on September 16, 2022.
Bob is survived by his son, Todd (Mary) Flory, of Defiance; stepdaughters, Beverly Zachrich, of Bryan, Debra (John) Kowalski, of Scheller, IL and Pamela (Dennis) Herman, of Edgerton; 7 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; a niece and a nephew. He was preceded in death by his parents; twin daughters, Tamera and Pamela Flory; grandson, Neil Flory and sister, Shirley Tibbits.
Visitation for Bob will be held Tuesday, April 7, 2026 from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. at Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan, OH. Funeral services will begin at 12:00 p.m. with Pastor Gretchen Mertes officiating. Burial will follow at Shiffler Cemetery with military rites provided by the US Army Honor Guard and the combined Bryan American Legion/VFW Honor Detail.
Memorials in the name of Robert Flory are requested to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, the Williams County Veteran Memorial Fund or by planting a tree in his name.
