Robert was born on April 21, 1944 in Hannibal, MO to Joe W. Fogle and Pauline M. Burke Fogle.
He was married for over 50 years to Carol J. Adams Fogle. She preceded him in death on August 25, 2023.
Also preceding Robert in death were his parents, one daughter, Crystal Fogle, one son, Robert Fogle Jr., four brothers: Donnie Fogle, Joe Fogle, Larry Fogle and Jimmy Fogle; two sisters: Virginia Griffith and Leona Mudd and one granddaughter, Shantel Thomas.
Survivors include two daughters: Amanda Fogle (Darnell Perry) of Hannibal, MO and Candace Riley of Atlanta, GA; five grandchildren: Devontae Ecford, Janae Ecford, Dashawn Eaves, Dezerae Eaves and Keri Adams; ten great grandchildren: Aliyah Brown, Zayden Eaves, Naomi Eaves, Travius Ecford, Devontae Ecford Jr, Savior Ecford, Jakhyrie Ecford, Dakarhi Ecford, Ahmeer Black and Ahraya Black. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.
Robert was a retired commercial fisherman.
In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, spending time outdoors and tinkering in his garage. Most of all Robert cherished the time he shared with his family.
Robert was a Christian by faith.
