ROBERT J. FRASER

FRASER, Robert J. Ret. Lt. Col. U.S. Air Force, of Needham, originally of Lawrence, passed away on March 4, 2024. Beloved husband of the late Margaret "Greta" (Fullerton) Fraser, Ret. Lt. Col. U.S. Air Force. Predeceased by his first wife, Joan Marie (Balezentes) Fraser. Loving father of Regina Fraser Crisman and her husband Barry of AZ. Stepfather of Susan Woodman and her husband Ned of Gloucester and Stephen Pitman of Salisbury, MA. Dear brother of Dean G. Fraser and his surviving wife Linda of Salem, NH. Also survived by several loving nieces, nephews and step-grandchildren. Bob proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force, he was a veteran of the Korean War and of Vietnam. After his service, he transitioned into a career as a pilot for Delta Airlines, which lasted over 25 years. Bob was very proud of his Scottish heritage, and along with Greta was an active participant in the Scottish Highland Games in NH. Bob and Greta were devoted to their faith. They were avid travelers and, in retirement, enjoyed snow-birding to the Fort Myers area and also enjoyed their time in NH. A Visitation will be held at the George F. Doherty and Sons Funeral Home, 1305 Highland Ave., NEEDHAM, on Monday, March 11th, from 9:00-10:15am, followed by a Funeral Service at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 59 Court St., Dedham, at 11am. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Interment St. Mary's Cemetery, Needham.
