Robert Richard Freeman

Wilbraham - Robert ("Bob") R. Freeman, 74, passed away December 15, 2022, at his home after a long illness. He was born on September 15, 1948, in Fall River, MA to Don T. and Dorothy (Ferrence) Freeman. Bob, a long time Wilbraham resident, retired in 2006 after a decades-long career as an educator at South Hadley Middle School. Bob was an avid hobbyist, and enjoyed fishing, computing, archery and drone flying. He built a beautiful koi pond and an award-winning custom Harley Davidson motorcycle. He will be deeply missed by his son, Matt Freeman and his wife Jacqueline and their children, George, Ted, and Frank of Newtonville, MA, his daughter, Kate Ellis and her husband Adam and their daughter, Izzie of Wilbraham. He will also be missed by his longtime partner and soul mate, Gaylin Bingle and her son, Richard Bingle and his wife Tamara and their children, Kayla, Taegan, and her daughter, Shannon Chaffee and her husband, Timothy and their children Aydan, Declan and Tinsleigh all of Monson. Bob most loved being "Grampa" spending time and sharing his hobbies with all his grandchildren. Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home was entrusted with the arrangements and all services are private.
