Robert W. Freiberger

Robert W. Freiberger, age 97, passed away on February 6, 2022. Beloved husband of Barbara (nee Kona), and the late Dolores (nee Cimperman). Loving father of Linda Fox (Bruce), Jeanne Mickas (William), Nancy Shanes (Jonathan), and Gayle Reese (Raymond). Dear grandfather of Jennifer Coleman (Jason), Jeffrey Fox (deceased), Bruce Robert Fox, Renee Hunek (Jonathan), Matthew Mickas (Ashley), Mara Shanes (Kenny Gilchrist), Zachary Shanes (Iris Kleinman), Gabriella Shanes, and Leah Reese; and great-grandfather of 6. Brother of the late Raymond. Robert proudly served his country in the Army Air Corps during WWII. He was a plastics engineer at Tinnerman/Eaton Corp for 35 years. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, 929 Pearl Rd., Brunswick, OH 44212 at 12:00 P.M. on Thursday, February 10, 2022. The family will receive friends at the church prior to mass, from 10-12. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
