Robert "Bob" Fullerton, 83, a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend, passed away peacefully in Houston, TX on the evening of May 21, 2025. Bob was born on November 8,1941 in Mount Vernon, NY to Edwin and Dorothy Fullerton. He married Sheila (Moore) in 1974 at St. Sebastian's Church in Woodside, Queens and in 1975, they welcomed the birth of their son, James. Bob and Sheila loved each other very much and recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.
For 34 years, Bob proudly worked as an engineer at ATandT in White Plains, NY., making many friends along the way. Afterwards, Bob worked for the City of White Plains until his eventual retirement several years ago. With a lifelong passion for electronics, bird watching, reading, Civil War history and fine dining, Bob had many shared experiences in these areas with family and friends. Bob had a deep love of both jazz and classical music and often could be found perusing his ever-growing music collection or heading to a musical performance at Lincoln Center. He loved watching The Honeymooners, Shane, and British television comedies. Bob enjoyed traveling to Bermuda, Maine, Europe and Texas, where he and Sheila spent much time visiting their son, their daughter-in-law, Sue, as well as their beloved granddaughters, Olivia (13) and Daphne (11).
Bob loved having a good meal with good company where he could share stories.long, long stories.
Bob is survived by his wife Sheila, his son James, daughter-in-law Sue, granddaughters Olivia and Daphne, sister-in-law Patricia Moore, nieces Katherine Strauss, Elizabeth Pryma and nephews Joseph Moore and Michael Moore. He will be deeply missed and remembered fondly.
