Robert “Bummer” W. Garrison, Jr., age 49, of Hannibal, NY, passed away unexpectedly on January 27, 2026. His sudden passing has left a profound and unimaginable void in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
Robert was one of the hardest workers you would ever meet. He was the kind of man who would give you the shirt of his back, always ready to help anyone in need. He lived life loudly and fully-often the loudest in the room-bringing energy, laughter, and adventure wherever he went. His smile and contagious laugh could light up any space, and once you heard it, you could never forget.
He loved the outdoors and found his greatest joy hunting, snowmobiling, riding his motorcycle, and simply being outside. Above all, Robert loved being with his family. Though he had many friends, his boys were his best friends, and his devotion to his family was unmatched.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Cathie Garrison and Cliff Wilder, and his mother-in-law, Deborah Slaver.
He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Kristy Garrison; his children, Natalie Duck, Jaymes Garrison (Chantel), and Hunter Garrison; his cherished grandchildren, Adelynn Garrison, Layla Garrison, Ethan Duck, Cyrus Duck and Ryder Duck. He is also survived by his sisters, Lisa Garrison and Holly Racha along with their families; his father-in-law, Paul Slaver; sister-in-law, Pamela (Rick) Geremski; brother-in-law, Paul Slaver II and many nieces and nephews.
Robert will leave a tremendous hole in our hearts forever. He will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and never forgotten by all who were blessed to have known him.
A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date. Spring burial will be at Fairdale Rural Cemetery. Foster Funeral Home has care of arrangements.
