Robert Gatenby Obituary
Robert J. Gatenby, 67, of Willow Grove passed away on the morning of September 30, 2025.
Born on September 17, 1958 in Germantown Hospital to the late George and Emily (née Kerr) Gatenby. Bob graduated from Upper Dublin High School in 1976. He worked as an expeditor for three government contractors. Later in life he was an auto parts deliveryman.
Bob was an avid Eagles and Phillies fan. He also enjoyed spending time on his computer.
He is survived by his siblings, Lynda Smyth, Barbara LaNore, Donald K. Gatenby, Janet L. Das; five nieces and nephews, Emily Das, Matthew Das, Victoria Das, William Das, Benjamin Das; one great-nephew, Alexander Das, and one great-niece, Cece Das.
A graveside service for Robert will be held on Monday October 6, 2025 at 10:30 a.m at George Washington Memorial Park, 80 Stenton Ave, Plymouth Meeting, PA 19462.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Bob’s name may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Second Alarmers Rescue Squad of Willow Grove.
