Robert loved his family and his friends, and he enjoyed spending time with them. He was an avid reader, and he loved all kinds of music. Robert loved his job at La Paloma Greenhouse in Corrales, New Mexico, where he worked from 2004 until his retirement in 2022. He enjoyed getting up each morning and going to his job. He also participated in The Special Olympics.
He is survived by his sister, Kathy Taylor, her husband, Calvin Taylor; his niece, Sarah Taylor-Mudd, and her husband, Colin Mudd; and his great-niece, Braelyn Mudd. He is also survived by his aunt, Adrianne Pfleiderer; his cherished cousins, Penny Hall, Lynne Gucwa, Sherry Riley, Kim Turmel, and Bill Zwicky, and their spouses.
Also touching Robert's life in a very special way were Marc Gutierrez, Brisa Ortega, Sable Moore, Olga Esparaza, Nathan Peebles, Debbie Redhouse, Selene Aragon, Gail Manning, Glenda Tate, Chuck Hawley, and many other cherished members at Gibson House and ARCA.
Robert was preceded in death by his father, Archie Sims Gault, and his mother, Martha Elizabeth Gault.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at 11:00 am at French Funerals - Lomas Chapel. A private interment will be held for the family following the service at Fairview Memorial Park.
