It was my privilege to know Bob and to work closely with him on several challenging negotiations. It was during those times I learned the real Bob. He was a proud family man and Vietnam Veteran. He would never use his position to his benefit. He was driven by honesty, and you always knew what he thought and believed. His word was his Bond, as he would never betray his honor by breaking his word.
I will feel your absence and cherish your memory forever.

Bob will be missed. I have known Bob since we were in grammar school. Bob was my brother's classmate, but in recent years it was our lives in Pullman that we had in common. I looked forward to Bob's visits when he would come to Pullman and stop by my house. I was excited to join the Tinley Park Post 615 American Legion when I saw Bob at my first meeting. Bob's enthusiasm will be something I will truly miss. I will see him out at Abraham Lincoln. RIP Bob

I sent his Mendel CHS senior photo. I was two years his junior and worked with Bob at Nabisco. Great guy, always 'churpy'. I respect his service in the Green Berets and actively participate in the NVAM (national veteran's art museum. You can see there most noteworthy piece of artwork "above and beyond " is at the Harold Washington library) God love you, Bob. We went to a fine Augustinian High School, America's 1st Pope in an Augustinian from Chicago's Southside. You should have a head start into Heaven. I'm sorry for your family's loss.

Robert will be missed. I have many wonderful memories of childhood family celebrations at our grandfather's house with our parents, siblings, aunts and uncles and cousins. He was a wonderful man. My deepest condolences to Mary, Heather, Jason and their respective families.
