Robert James Geis, born April 28, 1934, passed away Dec. 22, 2025.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years AnnaMae; daughters Robin (Bill) and Gayle (Dan); granddaughters Mary (Matt), Amanda (Nate), Miranda (Soren), and Camille (Garrett); great-grandsons Jackson and Grant; and close friend Gerald Bond. Bob was preceded in death by son Stephen, parents Walter and Catherine, and brother Edward.
Bob was a 33-year executive of Albuquerque National Bank and Sunwest Bank. He was president of the North Albuquerque Lions Club and Booster Club for College of St. Joseph, his alma mater. He was a proud U.S. Navy veteran, who served on the U.S.S. Black 666 Destroyer. He earned an appointment to the Naval Academy and was listed in Who’s Who in American Colleges & Universities. He was a graduate of St. Mary’s High School.
Thank you to caregiver Gina and Legacy Hospice. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Casa Angelica or St. Jude’s’s Children’s Hospital. A celebration of his life and Steve’s will be Jan. 23 at 10 a.m., at St. John XXIII Catholic Church, 4831 Tramway Ridge Dr. NE.
