Robert Eugene George, Sr., age 75 of Ozark, Missouri, passed away February 8, 2024. He was born February 20, 1948 in Easton Pennsylvania, the son of Robert and Catherine (Shaffer) George.
On April 8, 1968 he was united in marriage to Bonnie (Bateman).
Robert served his country in the U.S. Army. He worked in industrial engraving for more than 30 years, mac printing and retired from the state of Pennsylvania as a toll bridge operator.
Robert enjoyed going on vacations and cruises with his wife Bonnie. He especially enjoyed the scenery and beauty of Niagara Falls. Robert was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, friend, brother and brother in law.
Survivors include: his wife, Bonnie George of Ozark; his children, Christine Brumbaugh and husband Scott of Pen Argyl, Pennsylvania and Robert Eugene George, Jr. and wife Stacy of Bangor, Pennsylvania; his grandchildren, Matthew and wife Lydia, Catherine and husband Frank, and Cameron; three great grandchildren; two brothers, John George and wife Donna of Pennsylvania and Bill George and wife Barb of Pennsylvania; and his beloved dog, Hamilton.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents.
Cremation rites will be accorded by Adams Crematory, Ozark, and arrangements are under direction of Adams Funeral Home, Ozark.
