Robert Gilkerson Obituary
A poi dancer with a passion for art, music, and the wonders of nature, Robert embodied resilience and adventure. He possessed a remarkable ability to offer unconditional love and showed deep empathy toward everyone, instantly making friends wherever he went.
Robert is the son of the late Randall Gilkerson and Katherine Singer and Joann and Gary Bell; brother of Randy Delcher, Luke Gilkerson, Kaylan Gilkerson,and Trinity Gilkerson, nephew to John and Cindy Singer, Steven and Debbie Bell, Keith and Stacey Skaggs, and the late Laura and Raymond Singer; cousin of Chris and Julia Singer, Sean, Sarah, and Nadine Singer, Rachel Singer,Christina, Ryan and Valerie Bell, Krystele and Trent Kemp, Sierra and Dakota Skaggs, Taylor Rae and the late Danny Singer; grandson of Joyce Skaggs and the late Alfred and Edna Singer.
He leaves behind a legacy of kindness and a life full of spirited adventure, deeply touching the hearts of those around him.
The family welcomes friends and loved ones to join in honoring Robert's life at the Funeral Home, 8521 Loch Raven Blvd. (beltway exit 29B) on Wednesday, April 24th from 4 to 8p.m. A Celebration of Life will be from 7:00-7:30pm.
Robert's passionate spirit and loving nature will be deeply missed but will continue to inspire all who knew him.
