He passed away on April 5, 2024. The visitation will be held on Thursday, April 18, 2024 at 10:00 AM with the funeral service beginning at 11:00 AM. Both services will be held at Wheeler Avenue Baptist Church, 3826 Wheeler Ave., Houston, Texas 77004, Dr. Marcus Cosby, officiating. The interment will be held at Houston Memorial Gardens Cemetery (Pearland).
