Bob trained me for 2 years at Maximum Fitness in Somerset, NJ. They were enjoyable years indeed. I found him to be knowledgable, having an extensive background in exercise science and being put the test in working with a 50-year old man (me) .Equally important, he was especially caring and encouraging. I can easily say Bob had a huge heart, which he continued displaying throughout his all too short lifetime. His death is an enormous loss for all who knew him. I will always treasure my association with Bob. Love you my man.

Coach Gilmartin was my son´s Strength Coach at Columbia University. He was a great coach and fellow human being. He was loved and respected by the entire Columbia. Football team and the parents of the players. He spoke very highly of my son and I am truly saddened by his passing. Thank you Coach for all you´ve done. You will be missed.
