Robert Glock Obituary
ROBERT STEPHEN GLOCK, age 73, passed away on August 23, 2024.
He was born on August 24, 1950, the son of Robert and Jean Glock.
A 1968 graduate of Charleston Catholic High School, Robert received his bachelor's and master's degrees from WVU and became a lifelong educator first as a teacher and then as an elementary school principal. After retiring, Robert became a master gardener and loved spending time in this yard. He also thoroughly enjoyed being a Pappy to his four grandchildren and one granddog.
Robert is survived by his wife, Suzanne Hatcher Glock; daughters, Ashley Glock (Joe Abu-Ghannam), Lindsey Glock, and Tori Glock; and his beloved grandchildren. He is also survived by his older brother, Richard Glock (Leslie).
Robert is preceded in death by both of his parents.

Suzanne and family, I just recently heard of Bobby's passing and was so sorry to hear the news. If I had been in town, I would've been there. I did watch the live stream. I knew Bobby from Ridgewood Pool in South Charleston, where he was a lifeguard and later here in Morgantown when we would run into each other at school events our kids were in. It was always nice visiting with Bobby. He was kind, funny, witty, and always smiling. He was the best and will be missed by all who were lucky enough to cross paths with him. I added a few funny pictures I have of him--classic Bobby! Suzanne and family, you are in my thoughts and prayers as you mourn the loss of a one-of-a-kind husband, dad, grandfather, brother and friend.

Our sympathies... I worked with Bob as principals in Monongalia County. I am so sorry for your loss. Bob was a great guy and he loved the kids in his schools.
