Robert Godeck Obituary
Born March 17, 1940 in Scranton, he was the son of the late Joseph and Susan (Shanoski) Godeck. He was raised in the Polish National Church before joining the Roman Catholic Church. Bob was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Church in Moscow. Prior to his retirement, Bob was employed for most of his working career in the Auto Parts Industry. Bob was a proud U.S. Navy Veteran.
Surviving in addition to his wife are his step-children; Donna Capoccia and husband Vince of Dunmore, Robert Pierre of Allentown, James Pierre and companion Jackie of Covington Twp.; step-grandchildren; a great-great-grandson, Ari Pierre; and a niece and a nephew.
Bob was preceded in death by his son, Jeffrey Godeck; and his sister, Suzanne Janesko.
A Mass was celebrated in St. Catherine of Siena Church in Moscow by Rev. Thomas M. Muldowney.
Interment and rite of committal prayers will be conducted in St. Catherines Cemetery, Covington Twp., PA. at a later date.
