Robert W. "Robbie" Goodding

Robert W. "Robbie" Goodding, 68 of Cairo passed away Friday, February 3, 2023. He was born to the union of Paul William "P.W." and June (Edwards) Goodding on October 3, 1954, in Moberly, Mo.Robbie was a member of the Cairo Christian Church and an active member of Cairo Lions Club. His passion for his Antique Tractors led him to be a member of The Big Red Tractor Club, The Vintage Green Tractor Club of Missouri; The IH Collectors Club of Missouri Chapter I; and the Paris Old Threshers Club.He participated in the Macon Fly Wheel and the Booneville Fly Wheel. Rob organized the "Farm Toy Show" that was held yearly at the Northeast R-IV school auditorium. His collection of small scale toy tractors is a collectors dream! Robbie was a bus driver for Northeast R-IV School District for 45 years, retiring in 2022.He was a lifelong farmer on the Family farm.Survivors include a brother; Morton Goodding and his wife Patty of Cairo, sister Nancy Bragg and Mel Wheeler of Cairo; sister Mary Joyce Gibbs and her husband Jack of O'Fallon, Mo., nephew, Jeffrey Goodding and his Wife Joyce of Linn, Mo., two nieces Alice Hess and her husband Paul of Cairo ; Lea Ann Goodding and Scott Koster of Warba, Minnesota, his significant other Sue A. Walker of Cairo, Mo.; great nieces, great nephews and other relatives and friends.Robbie was preceded in death by his parents and an Infant daughter, Angela

Words of comfort and support may be shared with the family at a visitation to be held, Tuesday, February 7, 2023, 11 am to 1 pm at the Cater Funeral Home Chapel, with funeral services honoring Robbie's life to follow at 1 pm. Committal prayer and burial will take place at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
