Robert "Bob" Lawson Goodner, 80 of Henryetta, Oklahoma passed away on Monday, December 16, 2024, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was born on July 8, 1944 in Sand Springs, Oklahoma to Albert and Ethel (Ritchie) Goodner.
He spent his life in education teaching for over 30 years in Okmulgee County. He was a devoted husband, father, Papa, brother, uncle and friend.
Bob is preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Ethel Goodner. Siblings, Albert (Bosco) Goodner, Gerald Goodner, Lloyd Goodner, Stella Kennedy and Mary Dickens, also by an infant daughter Kelly Ann.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Kaye. Daughters Sandy Gaither, Kristi Williams and son Steven Goodner and his wife Laura. Grandchildren Baylee Kaye Gaither, Ethan Goodner, Ty Goodner, Kinlee Williams all of Henryetta, Oklahoma. Siblings Bill Goodner, Ray Goodner and his wife Janice, Clay Goodner, Phyllis Suiter and her husband Jim. Also, by a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Viewing for Robert will be on Thursday, December 19, 2024 from 5:00 PM till 8:00 PM at Integrity Funeral Service with the family present for visitation from 5:00 PM till 7:00 PM.
Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 AM on Friday, December 20, 2024 at Dewar First Baptist Church in Dewar, Oklahoma with Reverend Mark Elam officiating. Interment will follow the service at Westlawn Cemetery in Henryetta, Oklahoma.
Serving as pallbearers will be Mike Rawlings, Brian Rawlings, Johnny Moore, Jay Deturk, Toby Elam and Kenny Walker. Honorary pallbearers will be Ethan Goodner, Ty Goodner, Shane Walker, Gary Pippin, and Luke Gaither.
