Robert Guntle Obituary
He was born on December 26, 1953, in South Bend, Indiana.
Bob loved playing slot machines at any casino he could find. He was a sponsor and coordinator for AA, a Cass County Friend of the Court. Bob enjoyed visiting with friends and family for lunch at Front Street Crossing – Council on Aging and Wood Fire Trattoria, both in Dowagiac. He was a kind man who was always willing to help anyone in need. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family and friends.
Surviving are two sons – Justin and Robert; grandson – Josiah; father and step-mother – Robert Sr (Fran) Guntle; mother – Helen Jan Drouillard; brother – Thomas; sister – Susan; and many extended family.
Preceding him in death were a son – Joshua; and brother – Joseph; and step-father – Jack Drouillard.
A Memorial Gathering will be held from 7-8 pm on Monday, January 13, at Michiana Church of Christ, 500 E Prairie Ronde St, Dowagiac. Arrangements were entrusted to Clark Chapel – Starks Family Funeral Homes, 405 Center St, Dowagiac. Private family inurnment will be in Riverside Cemetery, Dowagiac.
