It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Robert Lewis Hall, who peacefully departed this life on December 2, 2025, at the age of 71.
Robert was born on March 18, 1954, the beloved child of Nellie Pearl (Gough) Hall and Willie James Hall, both of whom preceded him in death. He began his educational journey at Silas X. Floyd Elementary School, continued to Sand Bar Ferry Junior High School, where he discovered his passion for basketball, and graduated from Lucy C. Laney High School as a proud member of the Class of 1972.
Robert attended Paine College before completing training as an electrician at Augusta Technical College. He was a proud member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW), where he built a successful career marked by reliability, skill, and dedication. His work touched countless lives in his community and beyond. Known for his kind heart and strong work ethic, Robert also found joy in fishing—a pastime that brought him peace and happiness.
Robert married Willie Olivia Perkins and, though later divorced, their union blessed him with two children who will forever cherish his memory: Rodrick (Lashara) Hall of Chesapeake, VA, and Tiffany (Timothy) Johnson of Columbia, SC. He is also survived by his siblings Jannie Hightower, Annie Pearl Stewart, Sarah Melendez, Gloria Ann Watts, Myra Hall, and William Hall; six grandchildren (Robert, Rodrick Jr., Rodney, Timothy, Jacob, and Christian); his close companion Barbara Allen; dear friend John O’ Bryant; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his brother Willie Joe Hall and sisters Lettie Amanatides, Maxine Linda Hall, and Inez Hall.
His absence will be deeply felt by all who knew and loved him.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. at Second Hopeful Baptist Church in Blythe, Georgia, with Reverend Virgil Lynch officiating.
