Robert Lee Halterman

Robert was born on July 21, 1935 and passed away on Thursday, August 10, 2017. Robert was a resident of Virginia at the time of passing. He attended the Timberville school and was a member of the last graduating class of 1952. Bob worked for ShenValley Meat Packing early on, and in 1955 enlisted in the U.S. Army, 101st Airborne Division. Bob belonged to the Mt. Jackson Masonic Lodge #103, and was a member of Reformation Lutheran Church. The visitation will be held on Sunday, August 13 from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Grandle Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held on Monday, August 14 at 1 p.m. at Grandle Funeral Home chapel, with Pastor J.D. Glick officiating. Burial with Masonic Rites will be private.
