Robert Hamilton

Mr. Robert Hamilton the son of the late Jake and Sylvia Hamilton was born on November 27, 1940, in Bluffton, South Carolina. He peacefully departed this life on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at Capitol Health Medical Center. Now he rests in the arms of our Heavenly Father. Mr. Hamilton attended Beaufort County public schools. He relocated to Trenton, New Jersey in the 1950's. He married the love of his life Alice George and continued to build their life together. From their union they were blessed with four children.
Mr. Hamilton was employed at Lenny's Auto Body Shop as an Auto Body Specialist. He later became an entrepreneur in his skillful craft. He found joy as he spent precious time with his family and grandchildren. Bobby was an outgoing person who enjoyed his time with his friends, cooking, fishing, hunting and riding his motorcycle.
Mr. Hamilton known as (Bobby) was a founding member of the Cycle Kings Motorcycle Club Mother Chapter, Trenton NJ. He was an active dedicated member.
Predeceased by his beloved wife Alice George-Hamilton, parents Jake & Sylvia Hamilton, brothers Franklin Hamilton, James Hamilton, Henry Hamilton, Prince Lester Hamilton. His sisters Rosa Lee Jenkins, Christina Edwards, Margaret Hamilton-Smith, Florence Moore and Sarah Bush.
He leaves to cherish his memory, sisters Nancy George of Trenton, NJ, Henrietta Jones, Lockport NY, children, host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many dear friends.
Mr. Hamilton's life story had many chapters; in his final chapter he humbly submitted his heart backed to God.
Funeral service will be 11am Tuesday, November 11, 2025 at New Holy Cross Church of Christ, 500 E. State St., Trenton, NJ 08609. Calling hour will be 10am until the time of service. Interment will be at Colonial Memorial Park Cemetery, Hamilton, NJ.
